Newspapers In Education - NIE

NIE (Newspapers in Education) is a program that provides free or sponsored newspaper access to local students and classrooms as a hands-on learning tool. It promotes literacy, critical thinking, and civic engagement by integrating real-world news into daily education. Through NIE, teachers can bring current events into lessons, helping students connect academics to everyday life while supporting community journalism. Payments are set up on a 12-month payment program or a one-time Sponsor Program.

$100 per month for 12 months for 30 newspapers in classrooms

$50 per month for 12 months for 15 newspapers in classrooms

$1170 one-time sponsorship for 30 newspapers for 12 months
