Subscription Policy and Community Access Program

Effective January 1, 2025, Highlands Insider will implement the following subscription policy as part of its ownership program under Reaves & Williams Publishing Group (RWPG).

No Refund Policy
We value your support as a subscriber and the role it plays in helping us continue to deliver trusted, local journalism. While we do not offer refunds for canceled subscriptions, we remain committed to ensuring that any unused portion of your subscription is honored.

• Subscription Fulfillment
  If you cancel your subscription, it will not renew upon expiration. However, the remainder of your subscription will still be fulfilled as scheduled, ensuring uninterrupted access to our print and/or digital content.

• Community Support Option: If you prefer not to continue receiving the newspaper, the remaining value of your subscription can be donated to our Community Access Program (CAP). CAP supports local schools, libraries, area businesses, churches, and nonprofit organizations, promoting education, literacy, and community engagement.

Policy for Addressing Subscriptions After the Death of a Loved One
We extend our deepest condolences to those who have lost a loved one. If your loved one was a subscriber, we strive to handle their subscription with care and respect. While refunds are not available, the remaining portion of their subscription will be fulfilled for its duration.
