COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Patricia Elaine Williams, a cherished member of her community, peacefully passed away on Thursday February 5, 2026, at her residence in Cookeville, TN. Born on December 25, 1935, in Akron, OH, Patricia made an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew her through her compassionate spirit and vibrant zest for life.
Patricia dedicated a significant portion of her career working as a nurses aide at NHC Cookeville, previously known as Cookeville Health Care, where she provided care and comfort to countless patients Her nurturing nature extended beyond her professional life; she was deeply involved in her church community. As an active attendee of Holladay Church of Christ, and prior, a long-time member of Bussell Church of Christ, Patricia found solace and joy in her faith, often engaging with others and fostering connections within her community.
A devoted mother, Patricia is survived by her loving sons, Vernon R. Williams and Brian A. Williams. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Kimberly (Jason) Hargis, Amanda (David) Harville, Chris (Luci) Williams, Barbara Goolsby, Jesse (Tonya) Williams, Jammie (Crystal) Williams, Alicia Jones, Brian (Deirdre) Williams Jr., and Joshua Williams. She was also a proud great-grandmother to; (Kim's) Joshua, Jackson, Hailey; (Amanda's) Dylan, Aaliyah; (Chris's) Allison, Stephanie, Jacob; (Barbara's) Elijah, Samarah; (Jesse's) Morgan, Cooper, Peyton; (Jammie's) Lexi, Alyssa, Anzly; (Alicia's) Austin, Aiden; (Brian's) Zoe Beth. Eva; (Josh's) Wyatt, Cash, Lila, Eva, and Kamdyn. Patricia was further blessed with great-great-grandchildren; (Kim's) Ava Jane, Juliet Thea, Olivia Rose, Cameron; (Chris's) Weston; and (Jesse's) Banks, whose presence brought additional joy to her life.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert C. and Violet Lenor McIntyre; her husband Aldon Williams; her son Steven Williams; her sister Jacqueline "Jackie" White; and her 3 daughters in law Debbie, Sharon, and Karen. The legacy of love and kindness that Patricia cultivated throughout her life will be cherished by her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 12 PM at Holladay Church of Christ with Robert Bishop officiating.
Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
