SAVE THE DATE: Highlands Insider Announces 2026 Candidate Town Hall Series

Highlands Insider is inviting all declared candidates across local races to participate in a series of upcoming town hall events designed to inform voters and encourage community engagement ahead of the 2026 election season.


These events will give residents the opportunity to hear directly from candidates, learn where they stand on key issues, and take part in meaningful civic discussion.


County Mayor Debate – Limited Seating


Highlands Insider will host a Putnam County Mayor Debate, bringing candidates together for a focused discussion on the future of Putnam County.

 Veterans Memorial Building, Cookeville
 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
 Tickets required for entry
 Seating is extremely limited


Ticket access will be sent exclusively to Highlands Insider subscribers via email and text on Saturday, March 28, 2026.


Any remaining tickets will be made available to non-subscribers the following week. Tickets will be offered on a first-to-reserve basis.
